State Democracy Project

The State Democracy Project (SDP) is a coalition of national groups dedicated to advancing pro-democracy policies at the state and local levels. The state-based infrastructure to defend democracy is stretched thin. It is the mission of the SDP to address this gap, in part by channeling grant funds to in-state partners rooted in BIPOC communities, building capacity to defend democracy and advance structural democracy reforms.
