Online Progressive Engagement Network

The Online Progressive Engagement Network (OPEN; fiscal sponsor: NEO Philanthropy) is the association of the world’s leading national, progressive, digital grassroots campaign organizations. OPEN was founded in 2013 by five organizations to connect member organizations and activists to pool their voices, time, and actions to make their nations and the world more sustainable, inclusive, peaceful, democratic, equal, and fair. It now has 19 member organizations in as many countries. By fostering trust in this global community of campaigners, technologists and organizers, OPEN has created a one-of-a-kind space for expertise to rapidly cross borders. From kids being released from Australian detention camps and the first pro-LGBT ad campaign in India to a grassroots Green New Deal movement in Canada and the fight for equitable access to mobile data in South Africa, OPEN members and the activists who power them are transforming everyday people’s lives for the better, campaign by campaign.
