Foreign Policy Interrupted

Foreign Policy Interrupted is focused on enriching foreign policy and getting to better and faster solutions to world challenges. It is a brain trust of and a platform for foreign policy experts who happen to be women. Since 2014, FPI has focused on identifying and lifting up female foreign policy experts in traditionally male dominated focus areas, such as national security, nuclear war, cyber, science, and defense. Understanding that the media shapes attitudes and perspectives—and that the dominance of white men in the media as reporters, sources, and experts is a barrier to women’s career advancement and to finding the best foreign policy solutions—FPI provides women experts with media training and raises their visibility.
