Common Future

Common Future is a network of leaders (re)building an economy that includes everyone. Common Future works toward an audacious vision for a new economy that works for all and extracts from none. Common Future works with philanthropy, impact investors, and local business leaders to move capital into local communities, with initiatives ranging from making capital more accessible for Black entrepreneurs to developing new models of shared governance over community development. In response to the pandemic and racial justice uprisings in 2020, Common Future began to make re-grants to support Black-led organizations working to build wealth and economic equity in Black communities, and has already moved more than $750,000.
