Land Justice Futures
Land Justice Futures (formerly the Nuns & Nones Land Justice Project) (fiscal sponsor: NEO Philanthropy) brings together religious communities and movement partners to create land transitions rooted in racial and ecological healing. An intergenerational spiritual community, Land Justice Futures is dedicated to care, contemplation, and courageous action. It believes religious communities – and the lands they love – can be a powerful part of a just, equitable, and livable future for all of us. Land Justice Futures seeks to expand options available for land transition that protect and regenerate land, repair racial harm, cultivate climate-resilient communities, and widen land access — all while caring for the needs of religious communities.
Land Justice Futures’ free educational resources support land and climate justice movements, faith communities, and all those seeking transformation of our relationship to land, ecological regeneration, and a new paradigm of racial repair.
